no you did not, cause making an whole class to be empty handed is more work than just making the weapon go invisible.

Ffxiv developers and yoshi-P. Pleas dont rushwhit this. Take it in cosideration more time. But dont do this kind of things only becouse swindress are coming soon. Take care. U can broke the "logical" of a game who is called to be a nextgen MMO. Whit realistic graphics, animations, and dont mess up whit this. Next will be /display monster off?
right.. anyway like i said it's much harder to make the weapon go invisible than them make a new class. Also explain how i am an troll lol...
Edit: Also the once you take out your weapon the command will be turned off meaning you will have to activate it again. Meaning your weapon wont go invisible when you go back into passive.
My only complaint on this is that its going to take TWO patches to fully implement this feature. Why not just wait till its fully ready to go live instead of sending half the feature to us? Stop padding your patches with things that require multiple patches to function fully.
O_o, I feel like no one read the first two pages of this thread before they started posting, as stated earlier, the reason why they want the feature is for the cosmetic costumes, like the santa outfit and the soon to be released swimsuit, the reason why it takes two patches, is because they want you to be able to enjoy the swimsuit. I dont know why the final fantasy forums are full of complaints, be happy you dont need to pay for this game, It is not complete in the developers eyes but people pay for far less in MMO's. The developers dont spend all there time trying to stop the flames that are being spread on the forums. They think of ideas and implement them, there is no "this will trick them into not complaining". Do not over think what they are doing. They are developing the game, they dont try to do anything but that. that is and will remain there focus, this features is a fun feature they want to throw in so people can have fun. That is all it is. Do not over think and turn a little thread like this into a flame filled "what are the devs thinking" post. like 99 percent of the rest of the forum...
Well my OP was not actually a complaint at all. I was simply curious if the animations had been thought of regarding the changes that are confirmed as incoming. It was merely a preemptive observation based on what happened when Auto-Attack was instated. I still find myself stopping to unsheathe weapons, due to the animation being clunky looking.
