Etiquette for crafting requests

Gotta offer something up. It's only fair. I needed a HQ Perfect Mortar to complete my relic. Had the mats and sent a tell to a pretty high-profile crafter offering an Allagan Leather for his/her service. It was accepted and I imagine both sides were happy.

They put the time and gil in. They deserve the compensation.
