Fortunately, chocobo breeding is coming in the future, so no need to worry about that.

There's something that has always bugged me about the lore of Company Chocobos being male. If they are all male, then how did these eggs wind up in the GC stables? Always confuses me.

Hmm maybe they sent an egg along with the bird shipment from Ishgard, by mistake of course.
