I did post it, but what did I say that wasnt true? Am I jealous sure I am I havent even gone in yet much less beat a boss but it doesnt make anything I posted less true.

That's the way of it these days... A small handful of people take the time and effort to figure out how to beat something, then the guide goes up on a Wiki site and everyone else just follows it to the letter, it like a cake recipe.

r12playersayswhut? but seriously, once you've done the dungeon a few times and wiped every time with trying out new strats, you eventually get tired of having to repair your gear every 2 hrs...so you look for aid from the community (MMORPG afterall)

I mean, it's not like they lock you out for a week between attempts.

Seems these days, the mantra is "If at first you don't succeed... Screw that 'not succeeding' crap. Where's the strat guide?"

No wonder people are getting bored of content so quickly.

Wiki/Videos(etc) has done to MMO's what cell phones did to the new generations of teens.

That's the way of it, unfortunately.

As much as people like to act outraged and indignant when it's brought up... situations like these are a perfect example of how entitled a lot of gamers have become. They feel like everything should be as easy as possible for them.

I remember when you actually had to buy game guides....and before that when there weren't any D: I didn't even know a bunch of the Pokemon Red/Blue secrets until internets.
