So, is that a dagger? (In the new concept art.)

It looks like Blm ifrit weapon. It even has the red streaks, the head is blocking the crystal part. I only say it because isee the monk with the titan weapon.

blm and whm can both use shields, and we know levi drops a caster one hand. so that's a possibility. the fact that they are wearing a skirt/dress makes me think whm.

if there was a new class coming in 2.2 they would have announced it. give it up

Well, I'm laughing at everyone who says it's a thief when they're wearing Caster only gear (Vanya Healing/Caster Breeches and Acolyte Boots).

No-one is saying it's "THE" white mage, but that it might be "A" white mage.
So it could either be a WHM or a BLM based on the gear. (Take your pick, I went for WHM just /because why not/)

And since when did you do a primal fight with one healer? More than one white-mage is very common.

Are there more than one pair of acolyte's boots or something? mine are thigh boots.

I know alot of people bring up that lack of bowstring but looking at the bow in Gerolts master works as well as the arabian gear set for Bards. It looks like it could just be a Bard with the bowstring missing/obscured.

Who the hell knows really.

I am lmao at all the people saying it's a mage outfit. It's like nobody watched the 2.2 trailer or something. That is clearly a male cat DRG.

Keep your eye on the lower right corner of the video. A DRG can be clearly seen popping out shoryuken while clad in a frilly skirt + pants getup.

As for the weapon, it looks very much like the business end of the Gae Bolg Zenith being held pointed down and at an odd angle making it appear short to the viewer. DRGs do this all the time (before and after a jump). And DRG has attacks in which the lance is held with 1 hand, though this particular DRG does not appear to be in the middle of an attack, it is for dramatic effect.
