I'm a horse trainer, and something I always wish Final Fantasy games had was an horse option to ride. I'm not a huge fan of the unicorn/nightmare model, the joins and muscles are all wrong, but I understand the need of characterization. Nontheless, I've got mine and I'm going to ride it until a better equine mount comes out (Not asking for anything mythical or mystical... a normal horse from the East would be great. And XIV has already better horse models than the unicorn). My hope is to see a mount with a similar skin as Sleipnir, possibly with normal eyes and a less ominous armor? People are demanding a copy of Sleipnir already, but I feel a primal's mount should keep its uniqueness (But I suppose SE defeated that whole point with the Behemoth mount..)

Edit: I guess I should point out my only two major peeves with the unicorn right now, while I'm at it.
1: Miqo'te female don't get the option to sidesaddle
2: The raider posture is all wrong. I could go into details, but this is mostly me being picky because of my RL job. I guess I would like a more realistic posture. Hands, back, legs are all in the wrong places....
I use my Unicorn at every opportunity. It looks like I'm riding a cat in a Unicorn costume because it's so small.
Probably the best thing ever.
I don't use my non-chocobo mounts just because I have the FF-puritan idea in my head that "This is Final Fantasy. I should be riding a chocobo."

Nightmare's horn is on fire and he has little swirly winds around his hooves which make him an absolute delight to use. That is the appeal of the unicorns to me. The CNJ unicorn is adorable, too.
