Post-Split, Caduceus keeps killing my pet :(

I mainly hotkeyd everything because I could. I only use dismiss or whatever it was from the petbar, every other skill I'd need is somewhere else. As for mouseover... eh, maybe, but I'd have to get used to that first. The problem is just that that I like to keep my mouse already over the party list. I don't know how that would be a problem.

thats because you are placing her behind caduceus and its killing her with its tail, cant tell u where to place it, depends on your tactic, try to place it ia little bit farther from caduceus

in this fight u will want to place her, heals most be focus on tanks and eos can heal dps so, you can concentrate on your tank

Then I dont see a problem here....ur mouse should stay with party list with mo macro.
The trick is, u can lock on tank, then mouse over member u want to heal. So u will heal ur tank directly when u move ur mouse off party list, no more switching target is required.

The only downside is, mo macro not absolute reliable. Sometimes u end up healing urself. It isnt often but still risky. So it's ur call.
And u can do a mixed set for like mo macro for cure with ordinary cure II, thus u keep a way to guarantee healing delivery..

Tail Swipe hits the fairy for 200-300 and will probably never kill her. It's the frontal cleave that hits her for 3500+ that kills her.

Pretty much this, I just use Leeches / place in AK. Dat delay on manual healing

For healers who use mouseovers to heal(which is definitely the most efficient way of healing), having to manually embrace(click the target and then click the ability) when you get the same amount of healing with proper placement is kind've ridiculous unless you have a gaming mouse. Until they make macro commands for pet abilities so I can mouse over embrace as well, I'll stick to proper placement.

I have never had an issue with mouseovers messing up. You need to make sure that you're in range or you're in line of sight of your target.

I also cringe when I hear people say I only adloquium and embrace(or worse physick and embrace). You just about have endless amounts of MP. Placing your fairy + Adloquium/Physick alternating will yield a steadier tank without the reliance of supplemental heals from the whm.

Oh so you're saying you don't shield your tank? Or use CDs for your tank? A 650 heal with the tank at 100% is not going to do anything(unless in the off chance it does somehow catch a spike), that's called overhealing. However putting adloquium on the tank at 100% is more efficient. You'll see a lot of less of your tank dropping 50-70% and a lot more stability.

If you have testing or a video on this, that would be great. It would settle this debate somewhat. I think most healers would trade 15% greater fairy efficiency for the off-chance that it sends an Embrace to someone besides the tank.
