My FC always takes payment up front for a titan carry. There is almost no reason a FC would rip you off. The fight is very easy for an organized group doesn't take long at all. Can be GMed for scamming people if the group selling rips you off. If a FC did rip you off the person that got ripped off would tell everyone else on the server and it would be a lot harder to sell runs.
I never really seen anyone complaining about being ripped off from buying a Titan run I don't really think it happens much at all.

Anyone who sells or buys a Titan HM run is a complete joke and are a bunch of quitters in this game and probably in life. And you "established" FC's that sell them and spam shouts for them are one of the biggest reasons this game's community can be absolute trash sometimes...
Personal Experience: I went through DF to try Titan HM, couldn't get it in about 10 or so tries but I learned a lot about the fight. Then I joined some groups on my server that were shouting for WHM. We got to phase 5 but it just gets ridiculous after that. I finally say "f it" and make my own group. We killed him on the second try and it felt SO GOOD.
Everyone who is buying Titan HM runs, you are robbing yourself of the gratification that comes once you finally beat him. You're doing yourself no favors.
Everyone who is selling Titan HM runs, when did this become acceptable in a MMO? Everyone out for themselves to make bank off of people who are having a hard time? Be ashamed of yourselves.

^ Agreed. Selling/buying kills just promotes bad players. It should be something you earn, not buy. Put together a group and grind it until it gets done. Stop whining. Do work.

Okay I wanted to post about a situation that happened to me. I was fighting titan so many times, at least a good 70 times. I finally decided to take a step back and put titan cheat sheet in my head. I slowly studied all of his moves and watched u tube and called out what moves were next. My studies paid off when I finally beat titan. I was really considering buying a titan carry but looking back now I'm glad I didn't. My advice to people is study his moves until you know it by heart. Take a week to know the moves and understand what your mistakes are in battle and correct it. You can't control what other people on your team do but you can control your own moves. It's only a matter of time until you run into a good group of people just like you. Finally, use the duty finder to practice before you make or join a competent party.

I ran titan in a pug last night, expected a one shot. I was running before a landslide even spawned, and still got hit by it, pissed me off so much that I unsubbed from the game and will not be playing anymore, if you think its just because I am "bad". I will link you to multiple screenshots and youtube videos of me downing Titan flawlessly on multiple different classes. This fight is utter bullshit, and I commend anyone who swallows their pride and "buys" their relic.
