I spend more in a few hours on Sunday between bowling and lunch than I do on this game in a month.
MMOs keep me from spending money on console games so that's ok with me.
I eat at Chili's regularly for more than it costs to subscribe to this game.
1. Try to understand people have different money situations, and priorities than yourself. Maybe then you'll understand it.
2. A single purchase of $60 and the game is not only yours to keep, but play at your leisure, forever. Price drops, rentals and used game purchases also factor in. That will never happen for subs.
3. The same person who complains about the sub, may also not purchase new games at full price. You're assuming a person who can't/won't sub is also buying games new.
4. Subs arguably do not lead to better content/community, etc.
it would be right if this game had an serviceable endgame. Right now , apart for coil run once or twice a week plus getting to cap in WP+AK there absolutely nothing to do in this game.
In NZ the monthly price comes out at $25. That works out to be 3 lots of fish and chips a month or PS plus for 3 months. I think its still worth it.
If you want to see people moaning about subscription fees, take a look at the Facebook page for Elder Scrolls Online.
