Balence Issue: Sprint should not take TP

As stated, I don't really use it in combat. I just started Coil and we got to t4 pretty easily (Coil is really the only content that matters in game right now IMO) and can't see where sprint would even be remotely useful anyway, for anyone. I haven't seen t5 yet so I don't know about that one, or if they fixed it yet.

Still waiting for a better argument as why it should be changed. My going from gathering node to gathering node with it is still slower than a telebot heh.

How does removing TP Cost from an ALL Class skill with its own cooldown effect this? You need to read the thread. The suggestion wouldn't even effect this.

You are waiting on a better argument, yet you are ignoring even the core points in this discussion.

Except that if a THF has Flee that doesn't drain TP then they could potentially have access to any high damage ability and with the enhanced speed they would have a much easier time getting into position for that ability assuming there is a positional requirement.

Casters can use sprint and move, but unless you are talking about a BLM with a firestarter/thundercloud proc saved then none of them have access to a high damage ability on the move. Bio 2 and Scathe aren't big damage. The only other abilities are DoTs which are not high damage since they have damage over time.

So if Flee didn't use TP it would be amazing for THF and make it stand out since any other classes.. especially a melee one.. may not have enough TP to do any attacks for a few seconds right after using sprint.

That's funny, yeah a 67% up time on sprint with no cost will definitely make this game better *sarcasm*. Anyone who seriously thinks a BLM can DPS on the run has literally no idea how a black mage works...scathe is nice but for most AoEs it's not even worth triggering the GCD for. You guys shouldn't have brought this up at all, if they do "fix" this feature, they will give it a 2 min cooldown and you would have ruined in town travel for everyone.

I think sprint it is fine also as is. There are lots of times a caster might be slow on a move because of casting a spell. We don't get to cast and run. Mage and healers suffers when we move.

As a monk I don't think the sprint cost should change. If you are a melee and need this change, than you aren't playing right.

Oh I remember my first dungeon on my tank and I sprinted into the first boss fight. That was REALLY fun, lol. Starting the battle with NO TP. Luckily enough we didn't wipe.

DoW can take a hit as they got good defense, they can attack while moving, they got enough.

mages have to stand still a lot, so being able to sprint is our little advantage since we cant take a smash to the face and we cannot do much while moving

I don't agree with OP and it should not change.

Monks don't need sprint. They have already wind aura. it is like sprint, but without a timer.
Should the wind aura get a nerf because it is unfair to the other classes?
