The server is full, try again later (1017)

They said they where going to increase the data center next week what ever that means.

Alrighty, so I have a question... Anyone else having the problem where try can't even get to the sign in screen? Where it has the topics and everything before character select. I get black screened there all the time and tells me I'm unable to connect and to reregister ad download again, which I have done. Also says "error 2147309046" if you know how to fix this please let me know!

Took me about two and half hours of spamming log in before I was finally able to play today...I fear what the weekend will be like.

I get the error 1017 a lot but if I get lucky I can play maybe 1 hour a day be for I disconnect do to crappy Comcast internet (not SE's Fault). I then try to log back on but no can do. today I get error 1017 from 10:30am its 9:20PM now.

with what seems an impossible chance to log back on later, can u blame the AFKers not wanting to log out when they are at school/work/sleeping. also the "this world is currently full. pleas wait until an opening is available ant try again.) how the hell are we supposed to know when there is an opening available? there is no way to know or even try to know with no info to how many players are in a server or even what the max number of players is allowed in 1 server!

SE, we want and need MORE INFO!

sound in game shut off than windows would not close i could not log off i changed maps hoping it would fix it . Stuck black loading screen fore 5 minutes than game crashed i tried reloging i got 1017. i tried loging after that a time and i got stuck behind 500 people it started loading the game and 10102 error showed up.

They need to implement an extended queue, no matter how long it might be. I'm really getting pissed. Have not been able to play on a NA server for 3 days. Now my JP server character is getting to the point where I need to group and there is of course a language barrier.

Standing in line, taking turns. That's how we do in in America. Dudes in white gloves cramming you onto a train... That's Japan for you.:mad:

It would be nice if there was an indicator to say if a sever was full. Very annoying to try to login over an over for it to say, try again later.

To all those who wrote "c'mon it's normal just be tolerant, calm down and stop firing agaist SE....": that's going to be the third week with the ERROR 1017! Who played under Beta phase already said that was going to be the biggest error to solve before final release. During open beta I personally posted they should have worked on server. The thread was long as this one filled of the two main errors they should have fixed in the days before Early Access and final release. They say it's going to take another week? I have no more endurance and probably because you haven't experienced enough of that crappy "The World is full Try again later" can be tolerant and have more endurance than me. Personally I paid 1.0 for over 1 year and half. I tested and not lvled random classes. I logged in and out of any beta and I pointed at this 3 weeks ago. Ask what SE did about all this crap? NOTHING just took down the Beta Testers Forum so I can't paste you here how long was the thread about 3012, 1017, 9000! They haven't given a minute to fix them!

Add me to the 1017 server from h***............

wow I think I have had a whole 10 minutes of game time on a US server, I purchased a copy/license for the US, wish I could play in the US as I live in the US.

I don't think the 7 extra days is enough, still need to fix the issues and once all is good start the 30 days trial for all.

Please add in a kick for AFK people, that would help with some of the issues and also get the queue system working to login in to a server, at least I could have that going and see how long I might have to wait.

as it goes now I am getting ready to cancel the charges with my credit card company as square enix is selling a faulty product.

They could also deal with all the goddamn bots taking up a spots that shit is beyond retarded
