I hate asshat officers. I had a guild with an asshat GL in WoW and it sacked big time. If they're such an asshat why are they still an officer? IRL friend of the FC Leader or something?

I assume that's weekdays? I'll see if I can make a toon tomorrow when I wake up and if not then I'll check back throughout the day. It really is a good idea to get a feel for the server and meet possible EB partner(s) before transferring.

The ranks in my FC don't really mean anything aside from who has access to the company chest. As we're more of a family
orientated FC, a lot of ranks have access to it except mine.(Since he knows I intend to play an alt some day, this actually stops me from transferring items between my characters). The FC leader barely plays as he's in the military. This officer just likes to be a dick to me. (Much like a few members of my Coils group.)

That's one reason why I transferred to Balmung. Like I said in previous posts, this character which is my main was a random alt character I made in another world. The days I am saying is mostly right after maintenance. As soon as you can get on Balmung. I am usually on during the afternoon PST, you can send me a pm, and I can invite you to our LS and from there you can see if this server is the right place for you :). I hope you like us! so you can stay with us.

Like I said, I am a new player so I am in the same shoes as you. Don't worry too much about money. Your retainers help you make money, too. You can be a very casual player and still make decent amount of gil if you want to.

Just to answer the femroe, my FC is causal and they only raid whenever they feel like it. We're mostly a social FC!

Lawl If you have the time can you mention this thread in pf. A huge percent of ff does not go to the forums. Most of the time I feel like it's only legacy, xi and a few newcomers. We need more New comers!

That is true. People use other website s which I don't use. I just post on the official forums. We need more people checking the thread.

So I was just able to create a character on Balmung. Her name is Rhylgeim Awyrmohtwyn. She looks exactly like my main and even has a similar name. Now let all the peer pressure begin! Though I've already felt it in this thread with everyone going "Come to Balmung!". XD

Please call me Arix or Arixtotle due to my name here on the forums or some section of my characters name which is Rhylgeim Fraemohtwyn. Most people shorten it to Rhyl but some call me the full Rhylgeim. (BTW it means Plentiful Jewel, daughter of Free Mind)

Also, I do much, much prefer social FCs. If I did raiding, which I might try in 3.0, then I think I'll just join a static LS.
