what is the saying? if at first you don't succeed, try and try again? look, most of us need someone to hang out casually. at the very least even a solo player like my gets a bit solitary at times; and some groups are already made up of real life friends and tend to be exclusive. either way, not everyone here is looking for love and all that.

It's true, Many a time have I quit an MMO because my friends leave me. Don't get me wrong I stick around a couple months after they leave but the grind of daily life and the silence of an empty FC( or guild in some cases) can wear on you... My old FC leader back on Ragnarok is a close personal friend, but he got promoted at work and doesn't have the time to justify playing anymore... that's why I had to make the leap to Coeurl, more friends, I'm not on here looking for real life relationships, I just want a friend who'll stick around with me.

100% people in this thread only play at night though so I'll never find success here. Though I've been married but that person never used the forums. I think the people I see when I play are Europeans. /rant

I can assure you that there is a lot of EST and PST ppl. I just play in game and post at night after playing the game.

Today me and my FC leader went to do some EXP/Item grinding in Al Soma(i think its called) and we came across this one healer and blm. The healer kept complaining how my FC leader was moving out of range, and the BLM kept pulling aggro like no ones business (mind you we had runned this with no problems till now)

Then during the second trash pull the girls begin to complain that my FC leader wasnt using overpower or nothing. He said he didnt want to waste TP and plus felt the way he was tanking was fine since we had done this run already twice before. This how ever sprung the "Oh im a pro player and yall suck" card and she began spouting stuff like well if its worked out before you had crap dps. to this i felt a little insulted because im dps. and that the BLM said that she was only using Fire 2.

before we got to the boss the healer initiated a kick on my FC leader for AFK and then they kicked him on the 2/3 rule. and i went on to curse them out. Calling one (mind you selective language) a fat dude with no life to which she responded she was a girl. i for one dont really see some "MLG pro" female that into a game like this but what eves. and even if why would she be so heated on a level 53 dng

Definitely not interested in dating in game. But looking for someone to level with, Ast is really hard to level and I need to get conj to 34 for stone skin lol.

I kind of of miss older MMOs without the cross server auto party finder stuff, used to have much stronger server communities then =(

yeah i hear you... theyre like gone forever... haha. And most people leave right after dungeons. Its very impersonal. At least compared to FFXI this game is not as social

Screen cap there name and or copy paste the name into the lodestone and look them up and on what server they are :p works for me

I've yet to hit it off with anyone in DF but I have played with awesome people(that actually talked and stuff).

DF can be strange sometimes. You could be paired with 3 other people, all from your server and don't even know it, if you don't know them or have seen them around.

If anyone on this thread is on Balmung and is a loner and tired of it and wants a close friend, message me here or in game :)

I've got a lot of friends, but no really close ones, and few friends actually talk to me regularly :/. I feel alone in a crowd oftentimes, especially lately for certain reasons.

Getting pretty tired of that feeling.

I've already EB'd with someone from PF. Did that after a lack of success on the forums, but it wasn't a serious relationship. We both just wanted the glamour ASAP.

But I'd be willing to do it again maybe with the right person one day(if that's even possible). Due to that, I don't really think I would fit in enough to fill out a list here, but we'll see what happens after meeting/talking!

Edit: And if someone happens to make an alt on Balmung and wants a friend, I'm always happy to help with that too :). Not going to transfer unless I get convinced to do otherwise though.

i began the game 8 or 9 weeks before HW, and so there is a lot of high level content that i didn't play. Like some Primals in extreme mode, or Bahamuth stages.
I'm not really looking for "friends" and even less for a virtual wedding (seriously guys ;) !), but i'd really like to regularly play with some players who are in the same situation than i'm.

You know... to farm Odin, Leviathan and Shiva for glamour items. And to begin the new content together too (alexander, new primals...)

In fact i'm rather looking for a kind of "professional" relationship :cool:
