I don't really understand this, I think Yoshi has made a ton of difficult decisions and changes; in fact, he has in many ways completely overhauled the FFXIV that existed at launch.
And too charismatic? You don't like that? I think that is my favorite thing about Yoshi, his openness and involvement with the community. It's unheard of really for someone in his position, and it is unbelievably refreshing imho.
NOW, I do agree in that I can't help but be concerned with the way that the game is developing in certain ways. Like the overuse of instances and anima. Or the content finder, which I do want but am concerned with how it will end up being implemented. In this respect, I think Tanaka's product would have been very different and potentially more enjoyable from my own personal viewpoint.
However I still hold faith in Yoshi's leadership, and I am very happy to have him here over Tanaka (sorry Tanaka buddy, FFXI rocked so at least you're back to that). After all, I am enjoying this MMO more than I have any other in years, and believe me I've played a crap ton of them. I think that says something. :)
