Hmm somehow I get the impression gobbue might be a "slow" mount, as in, moving really slowly, nor running around like in Uld'ahn intro.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was at least slower than the chocobo. Goobbues aren't exactly built for speed.

Huh. Guess they're gonna have real problems then when everyone and their dog is wearing the completely samey, un-customizable in any way Job gear.

Anyway, I don't mind much that there's no quest associated with this, as again it was meant to be a reward. Now if other stuff that isn't just a nice "hey thanks for paying" bonus follows in the same vein, then that'll be trouble.

I agree with this, the odd "thanks for paying, heres a lil asthtetic item" sort of thing is perfectly acceptable, but too much will be a problem.

I do hope Job specific gear is fun to get hell lets make cool quests for jobs as well :)

Edit: will we beable to name our gobbues? if so imma have to look at the ffxi wiki for some insperation lol.

I'll join in on the complaining now and ask:

Where are my hp potions that restore me to full hp?
Why don't the mobs that die give 4k gil a fight?
Where are my treasure chests with diamond armor in it at?
What happened to my sleeping bag/tent/cottage items?
Why do items have a CD older FF games weren't like that?
Why do people say this game has an FF feeling when it doesn't?
Why are people saying XI felt like an FF game when it didn't?

Oh wait maybe this isn't the complaining this thread was looking for......
