It came off rude because of the lol. I type lol or ROFL if it is a joke. Making a joke about an individual that is not your Friend is just bad. It shows that the person doesn't know how to behave with strangers. We need to remember that language is a tool. A tool that we, the people, give its meaning. You mentioned that culture/language barrier that may have caused this incident. That is another reason why this person should have see a "red flag" to stop, think and see if he/she(they) should actually use her/his (their) ghetto language or use the standard, most universal word to avoid this misunderstanding and unwanted insult(s).
At bloodrunk23 well that is with strangers. I know her. That is another story. I prefer to avoid strangers witth those characters.. I won't be against that race/gender after we actually become friends.
