Just a Lodestone pic for now, this is my first Lala. I used my free fantasia that I've been hanging onto for years. I have a little backstory to this decision. This was my first character when I started playing ARR in 2014. I played with my husband, and we had some relationship issues at the time and it bled into the game. Long story short, we quit playing. However, a few years later, we resolved all of our issues IRL and are better than ever! So we just started playing again a few months back on a different server for a new start. Every time I saw my original character on that other server, my heart hurt a little from memory. I made the decision to change her to a Lalafel (she was a miqo'te) so she would make me smile instead. She is still at lvl 50 so I am going to play her again through HW story.

I, too, have been going AST for a little while. Got her up to lvl 40 (thank you potd!) and took this one at the end of floor 60, since I haven't unlocked Celestial Opposition yet outside of potd. Such a pretty class. I have to try harder to get good pictures of the globe like you've got, Lalafallen, because that is gorgeous!

I do actually use Stormshade as well and have not fiddled with it, meaning I use the standard settings coming with it. I do process them just a tiny bit afterwards like contrast and colors but overall Stormshade does a nice job for me.
Only tips I can give that I've found so far:
The gpose filters and lights will really mess with Stormshade and make it look like you use no filters at all. Try avoiding them completely. (You can still use gpose of course though)
It's really difficult to get a good screenshot with Stormshade at night or in rooms with barely any lighting as I feel the filters are rather dark themselves. Try outside, with sun or good indoor lights.
