FFXIV really should just do what they did with the Hyur stubble and just make new faces with beards of various kinds if its too hard for them to add in character creator the normal way. :/

I know it's insanely far-fetched, but when our belts were removed I thought SE was going to release this outfit and make a joke like 'here's where your belts went'

White hair color doesn't help at all either, I've seen a lot of fan arts and edits that paint it blonde ish instead, likely to avoid the 'grandpa' look. Also, the realization that Cid's hairstyle would look really good on a Hrothy (assuming they refit it properly, unlike 2Peanut)
