I have this problem too.
But mine seems special,i dont get packet lost in combat,mine problem is with high number of players.
When i go to any big city or gold saucer i get maaaaaaany lag spykes,per example i get 10 seconds regular ping and then data sent by me and square go to 0 and players and me freeze for 30\120 seconds and then the 75% times data come back to normal and every player move to high speed and fast camera untill all is normal or the other 25% times i get error 90002
I tried everyting that i found in every fix 90002 error that i found and nothing work.

for the past two months its been nothing but rolling d/c after rolling d/c ever 30-45 minutes and I don't even have to be in a populated area for it I can literally be alone in my house and the game just randomly kicks me out, for years I've never encountered this problem but the past two months or so its been extremely bad NA - Famfrit/Ultros/Leviathan. doesn't matter which server I'm on they all just kick people out constantly all my discord groups complain about it now days

I experience disconnects every single day in dungeons, raids and today in PotD. It has started about a week or two ago. The internet connection is stable, everything else is ok. I think the servers just can't handle so many players.

Okay so my experience has been similar to everyone's where i'm constantly getting connection lost 90006 during peak times but it was quite strange as I had 0 problems after the maintenance for 2 days. Afterwards I get constant disconnects again and receiving 0 packets.

I D/C at least once a day today i have d/c'd 3 times. It makes trying to do solo runs of potd/hoh very frustrating and any competitive mode like pvp not worth doing. Cause i d/c in the middle of it we lost the match. Oops sorry 4 d/c in a one day. My bad.

Took a break from ff14, decided to return after couple of months and paid for 6 month subscription. Eager to dive in the rabbit hole and enjoy every bit of this mmo i stumble into this madness (spartan voices intensifying) and my dissapointment = infinity.

Here is my story:
2 days of constant DCs and 9006 , logging out of mog station and so on.
.Thought myself okay its probably the world i play in something is messed up i will do a transfer.Well i submit a transfer - took me half a day of furstration to submit it due to constat logouts from the Mog Station , on the final push of the button and submiting it i get logged out again but they charge my money. Next step i open a ticket , to see whats going on - Was able to open ticket somehow, idk which God helped me to stay logged in enough without interuption to do so.They tell me this

Ok , moving on guess i wont be able to get any help. So i come to the forums at least to read about all the styff going on and if sb else had this xp before. I come to the forums and guess what - MORE FUN AWAITS.Getting session cookie errors trying to log into the forums ...well somehow, made it. So yeah found this topic and here i am .. getting DCs constantly 10+ a day ... around 07:00 pm UTC the game gets unplayable, im lucky if able to stay loged in for 2 minutes, no matter cities..out in the open.... Tried every suggestion there is, went a lot of topicc with ppl complaining about the same issues. Opened ports , flushed DNS , spoke to ISP and etc. Nothing helps... See , i want to give them my money and i did but...im not sure i ever want to come back to this game despite i love it, if all of this continues....

If i get so many production issues while maintaining company infrastructure , they will fire me on the spot....

Jenova resident. Just started experiencing this yesterday and I'm pretty sure that a couple of days ago a lot of people got kicked from Jenova at the same time. I only assume because my fiance and I got kicked at the same time. Logged back in and there was a queue of 500+. Also, there was a follow up saying there was a disconnection issue.

As of today, 9/2/2021, I've been disconnected three or four times in less than 24 hours, 90002.

Same here and I receive only vague answers as "open your ports"...they are damned open and i had changed nothing in the past 2 weeks on my pc or internet

Today i started getting disconnected with error 90002, and i am unable to play whole day today. Before today i had no issues like this for a month that i have been playing ff14.

P.S. Now i am getting error 90006 and once i got 10105

It started around 8PM on Cerberus (Chaos).
My guild mates told me they are fine, but some players in dungeons were DCing.
It doesn't matter what I do. Trying to do dungeon, walking in city or just going through zones.
Tried pinging server IP and packet loss was almost 40%.
