Yep me too, already cut my purchase down from the Physical CE to a normal version from a third party shop in the UK, saved myself £110 minus w/e the digital upgrade to CE will cost... What irks me most is that they put these disgusting prices on us and then make the Digital CE/Physical CE Square Enix store exclusive in Europe/UK so they have literally no competition that can force them to put the price down to a reasonable price point.

I don't believe they have 4 million subscribers. These are most likely registered accounts but not active. At best i think they have maybe 1-2 million. Why do you think in the trailers they never say 4 million active adventurers and only 4 million adventurers worldwide. They do this so people will be like "Wow 4million!? I gotta join!" If you are a smart business in the pay to play industry you never say how many active subscribers.

They know the moment someone like Amazon has it the collector's edition price will most likely be around 80-90. they want to avoid this and try get as much money as possible by making it exclusive to them so no one can change it. It's a smart business decision i must say for a "BUSINESS", on the customer stand point its stupid.

Maybe the EU sets come with a VR headset from Log Horizon.

Complete with being sucked into the game!

Or sleuth will pop out and data drain you.

They don't. Last we heard there was 500k~ active subs when there was 2.5m registered accounts (not including the Chinese version - different publisher/business model)

Forgive my Ignorance but the symbol the OP is using is for Euros, am I correct? All the currency converters I checked out says 130 Euros is only $138. Are these sites all wrong or am I missing something?

It's the symbol for Pounds, aka, UK currency.
And some people have stated than 130£ is 192$
The price in € is technically a little higher than $, but it's nothing compared to the huge difference for UK.
