Hmm no quest (wiff cs!) to obtain them sounds pretty disappointing. All we can rely on is the npc's WoT for explanations I guess. Thumbs up for new music though :)

It is obviously a reward for the players who are playing pre-2.0. Hence why its just given to us.. like a reward would..

If it was some legendary weapon or something I could understand people being so angry. But come on people this is just aesthetics. Something you'll have that other people wont(that wont make you more powerful) who play after dec 2012 when the rebirth of the game happens.

I am starting to become disappointed with SE thinking that we want everything handed to us. Please add content and stop giving us everythig on a silver platter SE.

When PS3 crowd comes in after 2.0 is released, we will have all this content they can't get, we will have seen the world they weren't able to see and participated in events they cannot experience, when they ask us "how did you get this" "how was that obtained" or "What was it like" I don't want to say "well... you push a button" I want some cool stories to share with future adventurers, it is a living breathing world SE is trying to make so why does everything feel so generic?

If i remember correctly this IS a gift for paying.

Why do people have to complain that there is no quest, its a gift from SE, would you complain if at christmas you had to pick up a sword and slay 50 sheep to get your christmas presents, or on your birthday you had to go around the world (at your own expence) talking to people to get your presents when you get back?

It just shows some people will complain about anything, this is a gift from SE for sticking around, so we can show off to the people who join after 2.0 and if you ask me I cant wait when my party mounts chocobos to get to a camp and I mount my gobbue to make them say either "omg where did you get that!!!" or "wtf why do you have that POS" either will be fun.

So like... I'm cool with the mount or whatever but, couldn't they have spent time and resources on other things?
