I can't understand that this disconnection problem takes forever to be solved. Square Enix is not a new company that needs customers to understand its problems, on the contrary, you are old enough to fix ddos, rmt and congestion fast without compromising the game. No one can play like this: being disconnected every 5 seconds you enter an instance. Its not only one world... its all servers in NA! Come on, I wanna play!!! and enough with this premade responses from help desk, I'm sick of it.

Seems to me like they modified their DNS records which is why changing/renewing DNS will work.
I had been affected by the issue Tuesday and Wednesday but have played the whole day today just fine.

New patch up and the same error... I can't play it for the past 3 days! I'm really sad. Thanks SE . . .

Maintenance over and still having the same 90'k issue as before. Anyone else also got this?

Was hopeful the maintenance would be a fix, and it wasn't.

been about 48 hours and the error is still there, I am still unable to level or play decently, my connection is "excellent" from what the character selection screen says, other games such as Overwatch , Tera , BnS , BDO work just fine....the problem is not on my end even though my latency has been worse since they moved their servers.
Now the point is...that while I'm not forced to pay for those games, I pay for a subscription here and I do not intend to spend more money on a VPN service such as WTfast or PingZapper.
Enix should at least give their players some answers be it servers congestion or ddos or whatsoever and in that case...do something to fix the issue for their paying playerbase.

Just like all the other players since the release of patch 4.01 I have been unable to play. All I can do is log in and see myself disconnect after a couple seconds while other players still run around.
There does not seem to be any addressing to this big issue of loads of players being unable to play, even the last maintenance was just about some small things not about this issue.

I am the saddest panda right now. I made sure I had all my verity gear ready for the raid. In three years I've never had any 90k issue. Now this, unable to play for days and still unable to. I will have to actually cancel my sub because I'm paying for something I can't play right now. Absolutely gutted. :(

This appears to be fixed for me since the patch, for what it's worth. I have no idea if it's related or not.

I constantly get this error in POTD and PVP no where else.
