Unfortunately I just bought a room in my FC house and since I wouldn't get that gil back and I'm exceedingly poor gil wise it's not worth it. Balmung does look like an awesome server though.

Aren't FC rooms 300k? That's not too bad to make bad, if you meet someone you let from another server dont like pocket change hold you back!
Need info on Miles or Reo? Just ask me all about it, I have the juicy details.

I got engaged in-game =P. She might not be a female roe, but she is very tall compared to my migo'te. Claire is an elf...the race with pointy ears. I like female roe if she would have been, I wouldn't think twice to marry. We have been lvling and doing stuffs together since she came to balmung. You should give balmung a chance.

P.S. I'm a new player so then little money I got was used. I got like only 20k Gil yesterday. Today I am back to almost 100k Gil. I have been talking and afking a lot. If I wanted I could have made over 200k Gil. It is not that bad to make Gil in game.

Well right now as a fresh 50 I'm having gil issues. Any advice on how to make some that's not exceedingly grindy? I'd think about switching if I had a way to make gil faster. I don't have any friends on Excalibur really...

You should be able to make it back from the materia you get in future quests. That and some items you get from end game dungeons can get you a nice sum as well.

It wouldn't be worth anything if it wasn't grindy. Since I stalked your lodestone and noticed you didn't have any crafters or gatherers, your only option is spiritbonding in the hopes of getting expensive materia to sell. Either that or find a rich sugardaddy.

Thanks for the advice. I actually got two materia so far and put both up on the MB. One sold fairly quickly but the other is taking a bit.

Well I can deal with some grind but not extreme, excessive grind. I'm actually slowly leveling mining. I'm really not good at crafting and gathering. Well not on my own at least. The only times in any MMOs when I've leveled either has been when I paired up with a friend who had a corresponding craft or gathering profession. I'm far more motivated to do it then. This game is far better than most with the DoH and DoL.

Nice. And I'm slowly leaning that way cause you guys make it seem so nice. Plus most of the Tumblr FFXIV community is on Balmung too.

I think my issue is that I just keep spending what I make on housing items...>_> I really like designing rooms and such.
