The new Lucius Rod is a major "fuck off" to any fisher that has gotten the Ironworks Fishing Rod. Thank you SE. Absolutely bullshit.

All legendaries fail to hook reliably even if you meet gathering requirements. After that its just rng, On the Faerie Queen I lost 13 nibbles, 14th bit on the same stats.

I've never seen improved chance if you stack even more gathering on.

How do we get Lucis?

60 Glacial Shards, 20 Moonstones and 30 HQ Giant Clams.
Glacial Shards can be bought with GC and Allied Seals, 600 GC seals, not sure on Allied Seals.
Moonstones can be bought with GC seals for 4k each. Dunno if available from Allied Seals but they do drop from maps (Peisteskin for sure) as well.

But rough summary is: 116k GC Seals, Supra and 30 HQ Clams. Clam is so far from what has been found out Clear/Sunshine 12AM-2AM with Heavy Steel Jig in South Bloodshore. Only 358 gathering seems needed.

Oh wow that is a slap in the face to IW rod owners. GC seals are super fast and a single fish.....

Big fishing is fun so I'll still get IW but after Lucis.....

its 3000 allied seals btw...50x60. ```` or you can do leves at 3 a pop, 20 times.

Also 1 free moonstone a day from ixal daily quota... discovered this by accident.

Glacial shards also drop from fisher leves in mor dhona, seen them drop in 3's.

yeah, always grab up the ones with 3 then turn in 1 leve. the available leve rewards will reshuffle so you can keep getting only those with 3's.
