Who is gonna raid now with the iLvl 110 gear handed to people??

step 1: Shout for invite to hunt LS

step 2: wait for someone to call <t> (found it!) <pos>

step 3: click the <pos> link

step 4: click the nearest aether on the map that was brought up from before mentioned link

step 5: /shout LFG (also check PF for any hunt group).. Or already be in one. WHILE running to flag on the earlier opened map

step 6: hit mob once then spam group heals (if healer) or continue to hit mob if not healer

Exactly. Everyone says how "easy"' coil is its "just scripted" yet somehow 99% of people can't do it. The only reason its easy for us who have won is because we spent w long time learning. The fights are not easy. You always have to pay attention and play well.

So you only do coils for the gear? You don't do it for the challenge itself or for....you know fun?

For some people, getting new gears is the fun.

Also you don't raid the same instance over and over for 6 months for the "challenge".

Probably because 99% of the people don't belong to a static. It only takes 1 or 2 new guys in the party to screw your chances. Even echo can't make up for inexperience.

Compare the difficulty of T9 to ST. The only hard part is lotting for the UAT.

True. But you'll still probably have to clear T9 to get access to TCoB, just as was the same for clearing T5 for entry to SCoB.

I gotta say...I only do Coils for the story. I enjoy all other aspects of the game. And I DO enjoy coils..I just find myself doing a lot of other things all the time. Currently more interested in just maxing out all my jobs.

People have been calling for this system to be fixed since day 1. The reason they are geared now is because it hasn't happened yet. Personally I have enough for 1 sand and 1 oil atm. But no point to use them since I'm not in a raid group atm. If I get into one sometime soon then I'll spend them to upgrade a couple pieces on whatever class I go in as (war, mnk, smn/blm, and sch all have several soldiery pieces and tbh I don't care which I raid with atm)

And the only reason I have that much is because they made the system so broken you are better off doing hunts for your myth/soldiery than dungeons. Finished 4 books in a week of playing like 3 hours a day. (+ got 14 mists for future class zeniths because hunts would spawn while I was working on books still... good lord the myth)
