They're literally never going to get rid of savage, and highly unlikely to get rid of ultimates. Getting rid of the only raid content worth doing is a surefire way to lose a very large portion of the playerbase.
The fact that this game has no Anti Cheat to begin with is appalling.
If you look at the weekly bans they are pretty much only RMT related.
How can we take a game seriously if they don't even attempt to prevent cheating??
There is a big misunderstanding around that for some reason the only form of measures that can ever exist measures are EAC-level spyware, while that is 100% not at all the case. Fact is, there are basic and non-intrusive safety measures that ff14, being built on spaghetti and bits a pieces of 1.0, plainly lacks, implementing which would already be a roadblock. Such as just verifying game's own files, enforcing use of SE's native launcher or properly verifying data being sent from clients/encoding data sent to clients. But it would also be a very grand undertaking hence why I find it unlikely to happen.
I play all types of games and 99 percent of online multiplayer games with a competitive aspect use anti cheat software. The toxicity on this forum knows no bounds. If you have a wooden pc that is on you, all my games run just fine.
Allowing cheaters to have free reign with a near zero chance of getting caught is not healthy for any game do some research pls before posting about things you have no clue about.
With that attitude towards anti cheat it's apparent you are cheating in this game currently.
Anti cheat is not a one and done solution because many people still cheat in games with anti cheat software. At least there is a chance of getting caught. Having zero systems in place to detect cheaters other than seeing them use software on a stream is indeed appaling.
With that attitude towards anti cheat it's apparent you are cheating in this game currentl- wait let me read this line one more time. "With that attitude towards anti cheat it's apparent YOU ARE CHEATING INTHISGAMECURRENTLY!?
