why not? allied seals aren't going to help you win. the most allied seals are going to do for you is give you what every fresh 50 gets within 2 hours anyways, an i90 set. if someone really wants to pay $20 for two hours worth of in game work, be my guest.

as long as you lock the highest levels of gear out of cash shop availability, it is merely another avenue of easy casual access to items. its not pay to win, its pay for convenience.

And i110 gear, currently. That's it, top-tier gear.

Anyway, if that ever happens -regardless of the ilvl of the gear- I'll leave the game without a second thought, and I won't ever look back.

wait, am I missing something? How do you get i110 gear with ONLY allied seals? no soldiery, just the seals themselves?

So this is what it felt like for all those "It-doesn't-affect-me-so-I-don't-care" people who popped their heads into "public FC housing" outrage threads to basically tell those upset by it to "get over it?"

I mean really, if the cash shop is as they said it is (vanity), I feel like being upset about its implementation is somewhat silly, given all the other in-game "bonuses" they've given up until now.

Already felt like it was just a matter of time with something like the Fantasia Potion service being around.

The cash shop is vanity :] I doubt SE will self-destruct by giving away actual gear.

I am excited for it, imagine all the cool shinnies they will be more motivated to create to be more tempting to consumers.

That doesn't matter. The fact is that you can get it with allied seals, and tomestones of soldiery are not that hard to get anyway. Getting half of it just by paying $$ is a no-no.

I'm sorry, soldiery is still a grind. it might not be after the patch, but its currently one.

I play for hours a day, and im still working on my soldiery tier. weekly lockout means you cant get that gear very quickly, and in the time you get it, you could have gotten exactly what you paid money for seals for.

once the limit on soldiery is removed, i110 wont be close to highest tier anyways, so it becomes a moot point as well.

thuis is all conjecture anyways. the main point is, vanity /= benefits, item shop /= care
