Big Fish and You - Patch 2.4 (speculation (or is it? :))

Haven't had the Helocoprion weather/time combo for about 4 days now :( Had a few fog->heatwaves yesterday but the heatwaves fell on midnight-am :(

According to Angler, the Blood-red Bonytongue can be caught for less.

How do some of you guys achieve 411 gathering? :o I'm stuck at 409 with max melds, and FC buff, and spinach quiche HQ.

411 is with ironworks and no buffs?

387 base gathering with ironworks + full forager with meld caps but no spinach quiche or fc buff.

With Spinach Quiche you get to 411 and if you add in the FC buff you can get up to 421 gathering which is the current max if I'm not mistaken.

I hope if there's new fish in 2.5 they don't let FC's that use Gathering buff circumvent the best rods to catch stuff (it also let you skip Foragers and Supra in previous patches). When I saw Ironworks had +12 Gathering over Supra I was initially excited but then it turns out it's not even close to enough to make FC's unable to skip rods. Call me whatever for it but seeing people who had the of Dragons Deep within a week of 2.4 and no where close to the achivement for Ironworks was and still is disappointing considering the amount of effort FSH takes now if you DON'T have the FC buff at your disposal.

Only new fish in 2.5 appears to be the Gigant Clam that will almost certainly be the token turn-in fish like Olgoi and Sovereign before it. Real question is, what are we getting? A rod exactly the same as Ironworks? Better? Worse? :confused:

Ironworks is ilvl 80, the new Lucis rod is ilvl 90... D:
