I just got a Pearl Roselle from a harvested Mandrake planted in between an Eggplant Knight and Nymeia Lily.

we're planting krakka + chamomile with grade 3 thanal topsoil but getting mixed results.
Sometimes it yields curiel, sometimes pearl ginger, sometimes nothing. Is this ok? :S
Everythin planted clockwise from spot 1 alternating and harvested/replanted as soon as 4 are ready

Yes, that is normal. Many of the chocobo food combinations are yielding 2 different seed types.

I have the same experience, the yield for Curiel is about 50%, but there's always going to be the chance of no crossbreed.

If no one has posted it:

Jute + Curiel can result in either Thavnairian Onion or Shroud Tea seeds

So I planted (clockwise, alternating, from completely clear gardens) and got:

Star Anise + Shroud Tea = Jute
Shroud Tea + Star Anise = Jute
Jute + Shroud Tea = Broombush
Shroud Tea + Jute = Broombush

No Pearl Roselle. /(-_-)\

Mandrake + King Tomato = Pearl Roselle

Is it safe to say that Glazenuts, Broombrush, Nymeia, Jute, when mixed with Chocobo food could result to Thavnarian Onion?
