Having spent as long as I did on the Endwalker part of identifying the voices, it's none of the above. I spent so long listening to all of them that I know them even by the way they breathe :D

I am so glad JB appears to be back and if it was him in 7.4, I hope whatever crazy shenangians that were messing with his voice lines has ended. Be it a cold/sore throat, wonky audio tuning, etc.

Haha, I thought of this thread the instant I heard his voice in the trailer. Glad to have him back!

I concur; that is Bailey in the 7.5 trailer, for sure! So happy he's back!! <3 I paused the trailer and listened to that section a few times to make sure I wasn't imagining things. I'm convinced SE made sure to include a line from G'raha in the 7.5 trailer just to reassure us after our suspicions from the 7.4 MSQ. Thank you, SE!

Thrilled to hear JB again in the trailer. I'll still be curious if they release who covered for him in 7.4 so I can have my "I told you so" moment on Twitter. But still thrilled either way.

It looks like 7.4 cutscenes have been patched with JB voicing him!

I'll have to find them on Youtube if anyone ends up sharing them. Or see if any are accessible from the replay feature.

Edit: Audrey on X posted a video with them all. Much better.

I'm so glad I took the time to go and record the old version last week, then! They're in a folder named after what I said when I heard him, which was, "That's a different cat." ;)
