At this point, I'd like to see them open up refunds. From what I saw on reddit and twitter. A lot of people aren't able to go with who they planned and want out. Friends, couples, and families even.
So that'd be something at least.

Well, according to the Final Fantasy English Twitter, the European fanfest has indeed sold out. 30 hours after they went on general sale. This is interesting. Isn't this a first for European fanfest?
I'm kind of regretting buying a ticket...I was excited to go at the thought of actually having the experience to go. But over these last few months I've been having second thoughts mainly due to the fact that planning for this whole thing is a pain in the ass. The hotels around the area are charging an arm and a leg and flights are outrageously high around that time too. Not to mention, I've been losing interest in the game lately...Content drought has been really making me think twice about investing time into this game. And when new stuff does come out, it doesn't really hold my attention.
But that's a story for another day. I've been thinking about selling my ticket but it has my name and character's name on it. I know SE was worried about people scalping tickets but man...what about people who have a change of heart or aren't able to go at the last minute?
Well, if we were only playing Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius instead, we'd have no trouble getting Fan Festa tickets!

Maybe we can get those folks to organize the next FFXIV Fan Fest...
Or maybe FFXIV fans can take over the Brave Exvius Fan Festa. :D
