What storm?


There are a beautiful sun here.

Called "Xaver" here. Lots of wind, rain and even snow.
They just announced an incoming storm flood in Hamburg for around 6 in the morning with about 5,60m above normal. Here mostly northern Germany is affected but Great Britain, The Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark are too.
With me (western Germany) there's just wind and rain. Hopefully the streets won't freeze over this night x.x

Some of my favorite candies are spice drops. During this time of year you can find them pretty easy, especially the red(cinnamon) and green(spearmint) ones.

I'm a bit odd in that I actually like them when they are well aged( ie stale).

We got hit pretty hard here in my part of the US. Good 7-10 inches of snow fell over the last couple days. Seems to have passed for the most part, but still getting a little snowfall.

I think the part I'm excited about the most is having 3 more options for getting Tomes in the end-game. I've done AK and WP so much now that I'm honestly completely sick of those two dungeons, and I'm not even full DL on my main class, let alone any alts! Also, really looking forward to all the other things they're bringing in for when you're not running dungeons. Like Treasure Hunts. >w<

@ Millerna: It's alright ^^ I think since there's the DF it is easier to find a group. Back then when we played on Masamune it was harder to find players during our playtime (Best was late at night @.@)

I am secretly hoping for Burmercians, but them aside, I would also really love a scalekin(drakenkin?) race! Gosh, that's a long way off. Patch 2.1 already has so much stuff -- just imagine what the next three patches will bring! And then the expansion sometime after that...

I am hoping that the new quests will begin to expound some more on the NPCs heavily involved in the main story. I know they were covered in 1.0 but I think the new playerbase needs a reason to connect with them better (especially Minfilia). That being said, I can already tell that the storyline will get even better from here on out now that the foundation has been laid!!!

What job do you intend to go in as? I'm gonna push in as a Scholar.

I would love to play a Burmecian! Though, because of the Qiqirn being in XIV, I think it might be odd having a taller rat-like race? (Then again, Amalj'aa and Mamool Ja look similar to me, too).

I have joked previously to my friends about a character that could be added, called "Freyaroon", a Qiqirn dressed in pink garb like her Bermecian counterpart, who wields a lance-fishing-rod hybrid. WHM, because the CT gear looks hot and coil hates my heals appearantly since only tank gear drops. Both our tanks are nearing full ilvl 90 gear after just 3 weeks.

Today I ordered the Logitech G510s keyboard for testing. Not sure if I'll like it (18 macro-keys sound as if they're too many x.x)

So I'd like to start a short poll:
What keyboard do you use to play XIV and do you need/use special (extra) Macro-Keys?

We've seen a lot of DRG/MNK gear drop and a even amount or so of everything else. Gotta admit, really geared tanks are nice to have.

I have my Razor Blackwidow, but its not what I actually play with. I play with a Razor Nostromo. I find it very comfortable.

I'm using Microsoft's Sidewinder X4, was using the macro keys for some shortcuts (char/armory/inventory/focus target). It's quite a robust one, though the coating on the S key has started to peel off after 3 years.

Never had a Razer product and the page didn't show a model I thought would fit.

Looking for a keyboard, I'd like media keys (especially Play, Next, Volume) and illuminated keys. Not sure if I really~ need macros which is why I ordered the Logitech 510s. At the moment I use a Media Keyboard 600, which I like very much but it is rarely available anymore and the keys aren't illuminated ._. Plus the spacebar is a little loose on one side.

@ Crim:
First: I'll take a look at this one when I am on my PC. Only checked it via the Amazon App and the price seems decent but some people said that the media keys prefer the Media Player. I mostly use Winamp and Spotify :x

I use a Deck Legend keyboard. No fancy-pants media keys, just a standard 104 keys, but it's all mechanical and it's got all kinds of LEDs on it. I'm more about solid construction than bells and whistles.

That's why I'm a Lalafell. Right-sized and built for action.

When I bought my KB all I was trying to get was one with illuminated keys. All the ones I saw around were fairly expensive so I just broke down and bought something a bit nicer than what i'd intended.
