Yea um.
I get that some people don't really play for the dungeons and DoW / DoM portions of the game... but... wake up to the reality THAT STORY STUFF IS THE FOCUS OF THE GAME. The battle system was created to be the forefront of XIV, not crafting.
Also I'm happy with the requirements. It means GSers won't be spamming shouts / yells in Ishgard.
And cmon guyz...the story is good. -

This thread is not about helping newbies. There's plenty that you can do to help them with the 2.55 gate intact. This thread's about helping players with crafting and gathering mules to get a head start on controlling the market for new 3.0 items more quickly.
That kind of stuff is gated through the story quests here, too. Can't get a mount until you join a grand company, for example.Quote:
