More info about Fairies:

Selene seems to prioritize silencing casters and giving AoE +Cast speed over cures, so if you use her on SCH to main heal, you sometimes have to pick up a bit of slack.

All summon pets take -90% damage from AoE, as in WoW. However, they still get the poison damage, silence, stuns, and such from the AoEs. You have to be wary of those and once again pick up the slack if your fairy gets debilitated.

You can "place" manually your fairy to spots that are safe for them to heal from, and bosses won't target them with spells. Their auto-heal range is shorter than yours, so you have to do that at times to make sure they heal the tank instead of standing still. Also need to be wary of LoS objects like pillars blocking them from healing the tank.

They do not seem to wake up mobs or cause agro if you "place" them near a boss before the fight begins.

They have endless mana, and have their own threat.

I saw you standing around in Monk Gear in the Black Shroud. Actually pretty close to where I met mbncd xD

Hmm... Looking at your signature, your GPU seems to be a kinda old model. Don't really know though, since I am using AMD for a while now. A decent nVidia one (not too expensive -> ~200€ considering the manufacturer) would be the GTX660, if you consider a new one.

I have a Roegadyn GLD on Phoenix, a Miqo'te CNJ on Masamune, a Lalafell THM on Excalibur (wanted to be in the last Lalafell March >_<), and a Lalafell Arcanist on Sargatanas.

So maybe one of these days, I might get to meet some of you guys in game. :)

Also to add into out pet discussion, pets will stop attacking the target if any effect is on the target that can be broken via a hit, this includes bind which I've seen happen extensively since the SMN40 ability is AoE damage+bind. After the spell goes off your summon with move towards you and when it's off will return back to the target. On a side note, for those that do leves and do one where you have to pacify mobs with /soothe or another action, you will need to tell you pet to heal several time or tell it to do something else. It's slightly annoying but you work with what you got right? And that -90% damage reduction I can so totally believe, but i think it's closer to 75%. I attempted Garuda story fight, Ifrit took the hits like a pro for around 400-500 point where it'd do 2k to players, unless his AI pathing made him lucky by taking a rout around the rocks. I really want my Garuda pet already!

Yeah I wanted to show a friend how the game looks like at night, alt-tabbed and forgot... And of course it doesn't crash when the game is alt-tabbed -_-

The GPU is pretty old, yeah. 2007, I think? It's still performing quite well on medium/high settings, so if the drivers didn't start to crash recently, it would still be usable. Totally no money for a new one so I'm praying this one holds out until I can get a new one. I think the 660 GTX isn't enough of an upgrade to be honest, I'd probably go for a Ti if I had the money. Though recently I've been thinking of going AMD the next round.
