Agreed. I was once afraid to even use berserk because of the pacification timer. XD
HG is so much more powerful once you start using it proactively though.

I'm the healer-buddy Noxifer was referring to, so I thought i'd chime in \o/ While I'm not above trolling from time to time, this isn't one of those times. As a SCH, I try to put down a barrage of DoTs and tie it off with a nice bane. I throw up a stoneskin and an adloquium immediately after the last mob of the previous group dies, so that buys me some time when jumping in to the next group. It takes about 10 seconds to put up shadow flare, bio ii, miasma, bio + a bane, and if there are multiple groups of mobs i'm not always able to finish that little routine before the tank needs some TLH (tender-loving-heals).
Since we all love a good thrill, sometimes I err on the side of getting that last DoT in before I drop cleric stance =D Hence the exciting moments that Noxifer was referring to. Lustrate is a great instant heal so it affords you a little bit of recklessness as a SCH. Surprisingly, I hardly ever lose a tank, and when I do, it is pretty much always Selene's fault. Then again, maybe a wipe shouldn't be the embarrassing shame-fest that some people seem to think it is, especially when pushing the limits can be fun.
Tanks job is to Tank. Not deal damage. This is why we have "Damage" classes.
That's the kind of spirit I enjoy! \o/ Aside from being worth it for the fun of it, pushing the limits also makes you a better player, the hardest content in the game require that both the tanks and the healers give as much extra DPS as they can. Might as well get practice!
