show your au ra!

Can anyone help me? I'm on ps3 so I couldn't save appearance data to load for a fantasia. So when I go to create a new character so that I might save the data, I can't even access the Au Ra. The race is greyed out and unselectable. Does anyone know if simply using my Fantasia and creating from there would open the option?

It should be automatically open if you have the expansion purchased and installed.

I second cute! I love the hair color combinations, they seem to just go well with the skin color. Also the hair style in general seems more polished and fluffy.

I'm loving my Au Ra so far :D

Pfff the grey sclera on males Xaelas are ruining their faces -___- i'm so disappointed they meant to do this and even more that it only concerns males...and don't talk about "Sexual Dismorphism", as if their body shape, and horns weren't different enough ... >.>

Edit: So I decided to change to Au Ra for a while in the end! :3 I know most people in the help us choose thread said stay kitty, don't worry I'll be a kitty again someday! I just wanted a change for a while. Had to change my top as the hempen top for Au Ra, (though adorable) doesn't really go with the skirt, makes it look like she had no waist lol. Not the best image of my actual character but I love the pretty background! I'll take more later. ^-^

I went to the Aesthetician to see what that hairstyle looked like on my Au Ra, and personally, I wasn't a fan. Sorry, I didn't take any photos of it. I can try later (though the servers hiccupped again), so I'm currently logged out.

Yeah, as an Auri male it's quite jarring to see how short the females are and I'm not even max level. Actually, it's still quite surprising to speak with non-elf (since I'm in Ishgard) npcs.

Otherwise, I am loving my Xaela Au Ra. The black scales look like tattoos. I wish there were scales on the shins, chest and other places.

Mine did not turn out as expected in game. It was hard to tell on the benchmark, but the female Xaela horns/scales/tail are really blue, and it clashes with a lot of my gear.

Also, the wibble wobble "hold me senpai, for my knees are weak" look they have is starting to get to me.

Probs gonna go male.

I actually had to go a shade lighter than my original choice for skin. It turned out really dark in live compared to benchmark.

This is what I am considering....I really love her look so far.

So after I made a lot of drama in this thread about not knowing if I should go with Raen or Xaela and most people told me to go with my cute Raen, when HW hit I changed to her.
And ingame, she was NOTHING like in the benchmark xD It was horrible!
So I tried my Xaela design, and it was perfect <3 So I stuck with it after all^^°

Yeah, male Au Ra literally crouch down when they hug females. It's kind of ridiculous.
