Fairies are amazing at low level at least. Not sure how they hold up as you level up, but up until Haukke Manor, I still run Cleric Stance and full-time DPS with Selene's Cast Speed Buff, while she takes care of all our hurtsies.
My tank loves and hates me at the same time for stealing all the agros >:}
On another note, made myself my goldsmith, miner, weaver and leatherworker outfits now, and got the FC's top fishermen his entire set. I HQ'd his boots, but none of my stuff.
I'm still in love with crafting, but it seems like making Vanya gear will stay out of my reach for a long long time :< -
09-01-2013, 02:45 AMWilkshaThey are really good healers aren't they. I DPS on my SCH all the time while they heal. Even at higher levels they can almost main heal. I usually us Eos, but it seems from Docent's statement that Selene can do it as well. The only times you cannot just DPS it during dungeons Bosses and when you get a bad pull. I suggest having swiftcast equipped just in case the unthinkable happens, someone dies. Funny though, I've rarely had to pull out swiftcast and resurrect all that often on SCH. On SMN when I am a DPS I've used swiftcast Resurrect a good number of times. Personally I see SCH as a combo DPS/Support + Healer and when I see a SCH just idling or twidling their thumbs I wounder why they don't try at least some DPSing, Archanist DOTs alone can speed thing up and Bio is instant.Quote:

For example your at the bottom of a cliff and a party member jumps down taking more then 10% fall damage, your fairy will immediately heal them. 10% seems to be the point where you become a possible healing target. Their prime heal target will always be the lowest HP target within range. It seems to exclude itself when party members HP drops below 50%. This is for the Eos fairy as she is what I use more often then Selene. Also if it wasn't clear SCH pets will only heal party members, their skills cannot target outside the party. I have not tried healing other party pet members, but I know they are excluded from possible auto heal targets.Quote:
