Wow, Wuk Lamat is really single-handedly ruining the DT story...

It has gotten to the point where every time she is in a cutscene after a certain part where I thought she wouldn't be involved as much anymore, I swear out loud and smash my desk. I dislike everything about her character as well as the VA. The actual voice I got no problems with but the direction is extremely poor. I hope it ends on a high note, I am about 70% through at the moment but good lord it has been a slog of all her story and very little of us or other companions. (Also first forum post in years I think but had to be said lol)

I was NOT a fan of Wukie in 6.5, but she has grown on me a great deal and am a big fan of hers now.

People should play the MSQ before making hasty judgments.

Many of us have played the MSQ though and it's shit when Wuk is with you for 90% of it.

Oh believe me, a good 99% of people who have posted here have played the MSQ for a good while and still don't like her. In fact, it gets worse the more I play. As the MSQ progresses, Wuk is shoved into the players face again and again. And if you go this route with an already not very likable character, people will dislike her even more eventually. It is inevitable.

The points where the group splits up and you get paired with wuk lamat literally every damn time actually makes me cross.
You can tell the writer is really trying to get you onboard.

Just did the first trial with my summoner, the story started out boring and now it's grating and annoying. I really don't know how people enjoy such an annoying and useless character.

They don't, they are only pretending.

I kinda thought it was the other way round, the idea that viewers might not instanntly love the character has crossed there minds so put no effort in to making shoring up the character and making sure we always spend time with them. Unfortuantly they forgot to make the character actually easy to like.

She seems pretty easy to like to me. Sorry that you guys don't personally don't like a specific character, I guess?
