I'm sorry you're taking it personally, but it's a topic concerning players who aren't satisfied with the content they have. You're more than entitled to defend the game, but who do you think will gain more traction in this topic? No one has bashed you, people are simply disagreeing with your opinion. And yes, opinions are fairly set in stone, I'd have no more success convincing a child that tomatoes taste good than convincing a player that proper glamour is the real fun of FF14. It's an opinion, nothing more, nothing less.
Players have popped in to share their thoughts on housing, crafting, gathering, airships, flight, relics, EX primals, dungeons, gear itemization, jobs, leveling, raids, tomestones, whether for better or for worse. If the endgame is the most prevalent topic in the discussion, then maybe it really is the weakest part of the game right now. I sympathize that you've tried to suggest alternatives to players, but you said so yourself: there are different types of players that like to participate in different kinds of content. A casual endgame player is just as valuable as a hardcore raider, who is just as valuable as an omnicrafter. They all pay the same sub, and they all expect to get catered to. When they aren't, you can't just direct them to content that's designed to cater to a different kind of player. Sure, they may take to it, or at least tolerate it, but they know the kind of content that engages them the most.
We complain, not to circle-jerk with other dissatisfied posters, but because we want the game to succeed on multiple fronts. If the game keeps us happy, you happy, your friends happy, random scrubs in the DF happy, and still brings a steady influx of newbies, then things are going great! When people aren't happy, they're going to quit, because people don't like spending money on something they don't like. Some players might first voice their opinions, like what you see here. And sure, it may not be the most constructive of conversations, some like to throw their weight around for the sake of argument, others might offer new ideas without any idea how to implement them, and others just know that they aren't pleased and would like something to change, but it is all conversation. People are still tossing ideas back and forth.
Don't try to discredit us simply because we aren't happy with the same content you are. No one is trying to take away from your experience, we only want it to be enjoyable for both us and you, regardless of the type of content you like to play.
