The “Lalaball of Doom” has quite the history in the Super General Discussion Thread. Funny enough, it’s even related to my current siggie. Hahaha. It all started with 1 small sentence that Crim Soukyuu said back in the day:

Kyan- Hm. I have just recently started to level all classes to at least 15, getting a feel for them and what not. Which is what made me interested in trying out those roles. I figured I would go White Mage for healing and do Summoner instead of Scholar. Good to know that it's more reliant on the cross-bar sets though! I thought that the targeting would cause me the most problems. Ah, boo for lag though. I live out in the mountains in California, our internet isn't too bad here. And no damn bandwidth limit!

Mbncd and Aldora- Oh! Those pictures make everything a million times better! And they explain a whole lot...I'm not in the dark anymore! :D I may check out some of the older pages on my night audit shift tomorrow...

Yes, getting jobs to 15 is a fantastic idea :)
Do you use a keyboard and a controller? (Keyboard for typing, etc?). I would recommend that! A usb or bluetooth or any old keyboard.
Targeting isn't so bad - there are a lot of customisation settings and tab settings you can change on the PS4 (and PS3) - play around with the settings on the game in the options menu! I did that until I was super happy.
For example, you can create target cycle filters - so you can target just party members, or just monsters, etc. by pressing L1 + Triangle or Circle etc.

Oh, yeah. I just started raiding, and found out very quickly that I needed to make adjustments to the way things were set up. I'll have to go into the settings a bit more once I start really leveling White Mage, see what works best. And I do have a USB keyboard. Bought that pretty quickly once I started playing again. Haha.
