To the people who are logged in overnight

Honestly every time I see this thread I just cant help but think that all these people saying for afkers to log out, just want a spot in the server and proceed to do the exact same thing. IMO If me and my friends are on that's good enough for me because kindness almost never goes a long way on the internet. I log on real early to get a spot on my server and it works every time but if people want to afk fine let them, they bought the game and can do whatever they want. The problem lies with SE being incompetent as always and you guys are just taking it out of players who have just as much a right to play as anyone who bought this game.

Either people just complain for the sake of complaining, or you guys are blind/skipping the important replies.

1. AFK system could be skipped by making a simple macro to cast a skill every X minutes.
2. The AFK system would kick what, 1000 players little by little?, the server at the moment holds 5,000 at a time, there are thousands wanting to log in, you would still receive 1017.
3. Hardware upgrades are the way to go if you want to even consider playing... once they do the hardware upgrade, they MIGHT add the AFK system if it is really needed.
4. Stop calling names and calling others selfish, or childish, you're not an adult if you post like 99.9% of these replies. Which most are harassment posts.

Now, can we get this over with?

Nothing will change if you keep complaining here, people ingame will not leave because of some forum posts. Sorry, that's how Internet works now.

Actually the only people I see whining are the ones who are crying that people are staying AFK logged in. Like you.

After 1 week of going online officially, i can say that the afk people is a problem.... I played a lot this week in diffent times too. I made like a chart how long it takes me to logging... and for each passing day it goes worse, I estimated at peak hour I need to wait a lot and is all about luck... but at none peak hour and whats more in work days not to get inside... is true the biggest problem lies in SE... but that doesnt mean that all people are saints... everybody know that the servers are at full and going afk is not helping at all... I could too be one of many afk but i didnt... everybody have rights to play because all of us paid at this point. maybe i sound like i'm weaning but let be frank the people going afk are selfish... its not about 1 hour of afk because they need to do other things most of them know that they are going to be out more than a 4 hours and dont want to spend time trying to log in.

And as I said earlier, you'd still be wrong. Kicking all the afkers would do NOTHING to get you and your crying, immature name calling, childish other posters any closer to logging in. Kicking a handful of players for afking every so often would do nothing, as there are still thousands trying to get in. Even if no one at all were afking, there STILL would be far to many thousands trying to get in during the worst login hours.

Sure, an afk kicker would open a 100 or so at best spots every half hour or so, and 100 or so new players would get in, but not only would those 100 people still have to get lucky and get in, the remaining 2900 others they fought for their seat would still be out in the cold same as now. And the amount of people trying to login at a given time is not static so even making that small dent is worthless.

cut and dry those that stay logged in for days are greedy and have no life thus why SE NEEDS to add an anti afk of some sort so the greedy people will learn to share i understand where there coming from to a point "if i don't log out then i can play whenever" but really how fair is it for 20000 people that never log out to hog a server and say F!@# everyone else its not and staying on 24/7 for weeks on end IMHO should flag your account as a gold farmer/seller and be ban-able just my 2 cents

Um, I'm pretty sure over half the people complaining in here would likely go into AFK mode too if they got in...

I'm pretty much there. I log in in the morning then just alt-tab during the day since I play for 30 min here and there. But I do log out at night when I go to bed.

1. Do not want a crazy electric bill

2. Its good for my computer

3. Use less bandwidth so my ISP doesnt throttle the hell out of my connection.

Feeling good has nada to do with it. Being smart does.
