You should understand some of what I first said... I'm assuming the initial interpretation to closely represent how a number will see it. Same-gender marriage an oxymoron? I didn't invent that. Morally debased? That was around before I was even born! (Though excuse me, as I can't claim I don't feel the sentiment.)
That's what SE is up against, and it just plain wouldn't make them look good. The mentions of alternative ways to work around it were quite good, though. That's where the discussion would best be headed to produce results. -
