They've had plenty of time to fix this or come up with another solution, yet we get nothing but "sorry".
At the very least, by now they should offer up extra sub days as compensation for preventing people to play the expansion content they paid for.

The most frustrating aspect is that people are getting through it. It wouldn't be as bad if you knew that it wasn't working for anyone and we were all in the same boat. You could easily convince yourself to do something else since it's a 0% chance of success. But it's not like that. Every time you attempt and fail for hours on end, you're reminded that people are getting through but you are not because you weren't lucky enough. It's like a 1/10000 roll. Super low odds but occasionally people will get past it and of course will be happy about it and tell others, which causes you to think "If I keep trying, I'll eventually get in" but no matter how many times you try, it's still 1/10000. If luck isn't on your side then you aren't getting in. It's the illusion of success that makes it so frustrating.

Which is quite frankly, unfair. I rather have the servers down for maintenance to put everybody in the same boat. Until it works for everyone.

For those that like to craft and gather, the people that manage to do get through have an unfair advantage. They can unlock the currents to fly to gather materials faster. I'm assuming that since the patch notes mentioned battlecraft leves being left out, that gathering and crafting leves still exist and that they are at a hub that we don't have access to yet. Having a block this early in the expansion has ripple effects.

They are indeed there. There is one crafter in my FC that managed to get past the quest this morning. He's in Kugane now doing crafting and gathering leves.

Why, that would require they actually do something.
Now they can say "sorry" and hope it fixes itself. (by people quitting or finally getting through)

Be real nobody gets past Raughban. If someone claims to have passed him you know they've already succumbed to hallucination and insanity due to their desire to pass him. I know I'm about to.

This situation is a joke... I am blocked since the beginning (was connected at launch, took my day off for the game.
All I have now is frustration, and the wish to stop the game.
Decisions taken are/were really poor.
There are ways to fix this:
- more resources allocation for 1 person instance (even if DF is disabled for a while)
- queue for this (I am OK to way 3 hours, I am actually waiting for 27 hours so...)
- automatically validate this quest (I have seen the stupid cutscene around 10 times, and I do not care about the stupid fight which will be super easy anyway)

Really reconsider your actions...
