The return of 3102

Seriously? fixing the other error to have both 90000 and 3102 again? Is SE trolling us? what is going on? I mean come on......

When I first got my 3102 in beta 4 it was right after they added the new servers on Saturday, Faerie and Siren I think were the two. Its return would make me assume it has something to do with adding the servers again.

I can't help to chuckle a little when I think back to how I spoke out on the following Monday to how the game wasn't ready for launch. The White Knight trolls laid into me calling me self entitled man-child and everything else they could think of.

This of course is one of the few cases it sucks to be right. I really do like ARR and wish SE would get their act together.


My sympathies to those folks that are getting the 3102 smack down I know the feeling all to well.

Long time supporter, but right now I cannot recommend this game to anyone which makes me sad. So far 4 people have asked me if it's worth getting, and I just have to say... not yet. But I still have hope this will get fixed one way or another... I just hope it's not through driving people away until the problem disappears.

SE: You are breaking my heart. I know you have your problems right now, but keeping them to yourself is just driving me away. Please be a little bit more open about the problems in our relationship, just tell me what is going wrong, we can work it out together. I'll understand if you want to leave, just pack up your servers and go. But just don't clam up on me and try and pretend the problems aren't there or don't matter. I still love you. I just feel that we're drifting apart, when all I really want is to be close to you again.... say something... SE... anything? *runs off crying*

Just when i thought i would actually be able to play three of my characters, all on different NA/EU worlds are apparently still logged in WTH! how can all three be logged in. I've contacted customer services but given that i have a ticket with a 7 digit number on it, I don't expect to get a reply any time soon. :mad:

This is probably just a side-effect of login servers being taxed with the rush of folks logging in again. I experienced the error this morning after logging out in the inn -- it was resolved in about 30 min. Chill out folks! :D

same problem here. Diabolos server. judging by how slow the forums are loading im assuming a lot of people on here with problems.

Im kind of glad now i didnt log out this morning when i had to go to class. Right after class I'll go back to playing. Would suck to get 3102'd. I feel for you guys. Hopefully i don't get dc'ed within the hour i'll be gone. I always log out, but i had a feeling today that i shouldn't.

Joining the club with all of you. On Diabolos server crashed with a Visual C++ error and cannot log back in.

I went to play a second character and the worst of luck was had. I hope they fix this soon.

That's just ignorant. Saying things like "SE is a terrible company", SE should die", "This is a terrible launch" just brings a negative attitude to the forums. Why even bother to post these things? What free trail period are you refering to? Everyone who is playing now has purchased the game...

I finally managed to get the patch downloaded after 4.5 hours due to it restarting from the beginning multiple times. I was in-game for 10 minutes then got booted with error 90000. Tried to log back in but had error 3102 which persisted for 45 minutes. Managed to log back in again, was in for 15 minutes then got disconnected and now have 3102 again. Please fix this SE!

Yep. I was crafting, minding my own business until I was hit with 90000.

Now I'm stuck with 3201.

OK So the Big Fix is done, And I'm STILL having Log-in Problems. I Didn't get 7 extra free days as promised, And I'm starting to feel like this is just a broken re-make of a broken game. Come-on Square - E ; let's get it together. It doesn't matter how awesome a game is if people can't play it. I won't be paying subs for a game I can't play when I want to.

This is very upsetting. I even logged out in the Inn.
I normally don't complain on forums, but this is just....ugh.

Was able to log in after 30min then I log back off to see if I get 3102 and it indeed happen again I've noted that I am in a sanction area where their is no 20/20 countdown just log's off perhaps maybe part of the symptom of the issue perhaps maybe adding a 20/20 countdown even in these area's would help. Though I'm sure their are other's that perhaps have similar issues maybe making sure your request to logout or exit game to the server be looked into

... you know... starting to feel sorry for yoshi-p... the people in charge of the servers are messing up and he's left to take the heat.

Your credit card has not been charged the monthly fee for playing yet, you are still in a free trial period regardless of having paid for the physical copy of the game.

Also, not everyone playing has paid for the game. I got my copy for free due to the PS3 digital pre-order fiasco.

Just wait until patch 2.1, it's only 2 months away. Don't be so impatient geez.

The real question is can we trust The FF XIV team enough to sub. They have shown they are woefully unprepared or just generally unable to run a MMO. I don't know if they lack the man power, funds, or brain power but this is by far the worst launch of a major MMO in the last 5 years or more.

The game is truly amazing when you get to play but if you can't acces the game there really is no point. There fix has obviously caused many unforeseen issues do to their lack of ability. I want to play this game for a long time but I'm worried that without them hiring newer/smarter people these issues will never truly go away.

Before work i playing normally, log out. Just came back to home and? 3102 - you`re still logged -.-

But after one hour of trying ply my main char i saw only "Group NA/Eu unable to refresh" -.-

Square-Enix... This is ridicoulus... We pay money (somebody even more money for CE) and can`t play. WTF wrong with this? Creating a remake of crappy game and this remake is more crappy? WTF?

Cancelled my subscription and waiting out my trial time. If this problem, as well as the throttling problem that started occuring at the beginning of September, are not fixed by then I'll simply look for another game to play.
I'd much rather pay for a game that I can actually play than a game that has issues that even a 9 hour maintenance can't fix and are preventing me from playing.
Their customer service is pretty bad as well at the moment. :|

1. Everyone has a PHD in computer programming.
2. Everyone knows that programming a game is easy
3. Everyone runs servers in their basement so they know how to run server.
4. Everyone builds MMO's in their free time, so they know how it should be done.
5. Everyone knows everything, so put everyone in charge.
