Regarding ingame server lag serious issues

Same World same issue. I had little noticeable lag prior to yesterdays maintenance, I guess it is something to do with the increased number of players in the world at peak times. The problem is that peak times are mainly when I can play. I cannot interact with items or start combat with any reason to believe I will actually be able finish the action.

Bump. I started getting the lag spikes after the big patch yesterday, i can't do dungeons right now.

my ip is 199.91.189.25 and my pid is 6312 and getting booted very often every 10 to 15 mins and huge lag spikes

its good to see that were all having this issue and this thread is up to 13 pages now and SE has yet to post anything -.-

Still receiving error 90000 d/c and huge lag spikes. Similar to others' posts, I'm unable to do dungeons because the disconnections are that frequent. ;_;

Edit: Just to clarify, I have absolutely no problems logging in... rarely even being put into a queue since the update. The problem is just the disconnects caused by error 90000.

Keep me posted guys , got the same error 90k every 5min or so, heavy lag then either i lose connection or i fastfoward and prob die...

Still no update on this from SE. Do they not care? How thoughtful. And we're paying for this?

I'm going to post the same thing in every thread I see pop up regarding the lag.
Getting r0 every 5-10 seconds EVERYWHERE I go in game. Has been happening since the update/maintenance on Sept 4th when the brought out the 1000MB patch file. Nothing I have tried fixes it. Already spoke to my ISP who assures me they are not blocking or throttling me in any way. We have a 30Mbps download speed connection, with 3-5Mbps Upload speed. Speedtests to multiple different servers around the world have come back normal, and all other games/mmo's connect and function as they should. Only FFXIV seems to be having this receive rate 0 lag issue.
I have tried other servers such as Sargatanas and Tonberry and I still get the same lag. The lag does not improve even if I am in non-traffic areas such as my inn room. I still get the lag.
15-20mins after logging in I often get error 90k.

From a thread I posted yesterday:

"I attempted two dungeons this morning, but I had some very huge problems in them. These all happened over different attempts:

In total, 3 people's character models just stopped in place and wouldn't move, but looking at the map I could see each of their blue circles where the action was, fighting enemies. In addition to this they were taking damage and if I ran over to their models I could see them performing attacking actions, even though from my point of view the models were just standing still very far away from the action while attacking the air. I could target their character models only, but if I tried performing an action on them it simply told me they were out of range.

In total, 2 people's models simply disappeared. I couldn't see them at all but I could see the attacking animations (like the archer's arrows) and they were receiving damage. If I looked on the mini-map they weren't on it, but if I looked on the actual map I could see their blue dots.

On top of this, every few minutes the dungeon would simply freeze for about 5 seconds. All character models stayed still for this long except for mine and any actions I performed seemed to all stack and occur at once when it fixed.
These are very huge problems, but it's made even worse if I tell you that I was meant to be the healer. Note that other than the 3rd one which I've had a lot since the 28th of August, none of these problems have occurred outside of dungeons before. At least not with party members.

Quite simply put, dungeons are unplayable for me at the moment. I have done another dungeon since then and the lag just made in unplayable if I didn't have my friend there telling me who to heal. Apparently I could heal people while it was frozen, but I wasn't receiving information telling me how damaged they were or what was attacking me so I needed my friend to tell me who to heal. Sometimes it would only last for about 3 seconds, but it's lasted as long as 20 seconds before and it's occurred as frequently as once per minute. I don't know how long I will be able to deal with this... The lag has been getting worse every day...

I have been experiencing lag as well. Mine began around Monday. I live in Japan and play on an NA server, but had zero latency issues before Monday. Now I sometimes have to wait 6-10 seconds for actions to process. I guess the game is still playable, but it isn't very fun anymore. I have been playing conjurer and tried doing Halatali the other day. Managed to get through it, but it really hard to heal with that kind of lag. -_- I get error 90000 a fair amount too.

I am getting disconected every 10 - 20 min or so with alot of lag spikes too.

People here have already said what the issue was so i'll just post my findings.

I've been playing yesterday and I experienced lag, random freezes, 90k errors and it was totally unplayable. I am playing with my GF, she sits next to me and she experienced lag as well. The curious thing is that she didn't experience freezes when I did and vice versa. So, it wasn't my ISP. Also, during the early access, I played without lag issues.

It has nothing to do with ISPs yeah. Some of SE's servers are broken. You'd be confused because they're refusing to say anything about it.
