LGBT Linkshell and Free Company Directory

Anyone planning on creating an LGBT guild on Famfrit?

um... hello ^ω^ I'm really stuck with what Free Company join > , < I'm looking for a friendly and fun Free Company on the sever "Behemoth" could yo guys please help me out with picking one it would mean alot hehe.

I think this is great. Ideally, it should be standard that guilds and communities don't discriminate or bash people for something that's entirely irrelevant to gameplay. But it happens, so it's better to invest your time and make friends in a guild/community that's tolerant and doesn't make others feel bad for being themselves. This is just a game, and all different kinds of people are playing it. You're entitled to think whatever you want, and play/not play with whomever you want, but no need to bring others down.

That being said, wish there were more listing for Behemoth on here. In the mad dash to find even one spot on a server, I took what I could get. I'm sure there are plenty though, so post 'em up!

I've always been surprised that issues like this come up in a video game. It kinda makes me ashamed of the community I'm apart of. I honestly cannot tell a persons gender, race, or even orientation based on looking at a character. I base my entire perceptions on their character itself. I don't find any point in bringing anything else into the game, it's just not needed.

Now I'll admit I judged the crap outta people that played goblins in wow, I hate those guys >.<

If you don't understand why there's a need for a LGBT friendly LS/FC then try reading through this thread. You will learn a lot.

Mythopoeia on Balmung is LGBT-friendly. We don't have an express rule for discriminatory behavior, but consider that to fall under the anti-harassment rule. Members (including officers) include LGBT people, including that last letter there that tends to go neglected due to its comparable rarity. Hi, Drawn Together is a GLBT guild on Faerie based in Vancouver and have many members from Vancouver Gaymers community. We are respectful and supportive of one another and plan to do a lot of end game content and raiding. See you in the game!

I can't really speak for the entire guild (not leader) but on Exodus there is "Banned" with tag "NSFW". We accept everybody and I don't/won't stand for people attacking other people (whether in my FC or not) over this. I noticed that there aren't any FCs in Exodus yet and I'd be happy to play host for anybody that wants a safe place to play games and have fun! IGN Archen Galmoren.

And note, I skipped a lot of pages and forgot to quote, but I found the signature with the hopping unicorns to be completely ridiculous. I laughed for what felt like ever though. I'm tired and ridiculous stuff is always funny lol. Something about hopping unicorns... I don't even.

Are you ashamed when someone talks about their boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, or wife? Are you ashamed when someone talks about a crush? Are you ashamed of people who want to enjoy conversations with those they have stuff in common with?

If not, then I can't see how you could be ashamed of the LGBT gaming community. Well, unless you're bigoted.

It's common to talk about real life with people in MMOs, it's not "bringing anything unneeded" into the game. But hey, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Maybe like a lot of people you just don't understand why a LGBT+Allies gaming community is a good thing for us. If you want, I can list many of the reasons why a good LGBT+A community is important, useful, and fun.

Queer people already deal with enough insults. We have fewer social privileges overall than straight people. Stop trying to demean one of the few great social things we get to enjoy.

Cuckoo for Kupo's is a guild on Gilgamesh were not strictly LGBT but almost all the members atm are. We're looking for basically anyone who wants to run endgame content or just have fun.

We're basically a group of friends that started a free company we were tempted to join the many other LGBT guilds but in the end decided on making our own.

We use mumble it's not required that you actually speak as long as you can hear for raids etc.... We do have adult conversations just a heads up so no one gets their feelings hurt 8P

We are not specifically a LGBT group however most of our members are. And have asked to be added to this directory for any and all interested. As our name might suggest we are an adult group. We do not tolerate any form of hate in any shape or form. We have a Team Speak server and love to joke around pretty much all day. Having said that I will say we are not for everyone. Our conversations get extremely racey and we discuss everything from religion to politics to positions.
Currently we are doing endgame as well as getting new members caught up on anything they might need. Our "event" nights are Mon - Wed - Fri from 7pm EST - 11pm EST. Weekends are used to catch anyone up as well as capping any AK or other runs that some might need for capping stones or farming gear.

Is it possible to maintain a linkshell list as well as a guildlist? I support and would indeed like to talk to people in the LGBT community on Gilgamesh, but I've been part of a good FC for a while now, and I'd rather not leave them to join in discussion with other people, and all I really see on the OP list is guilds and the occasional Linkshell.
