Yeah... and I understand that too I mean nothing really goes as perfect, but why keep us in the dark, knowing we are just a few hours away from EA, plus messing things like this... please... don't get me wrong I love SE and I will still support em, but this mistake is a really stupid mistake..... either from SONY or SE, this should't have happened... nor finding it this late...

So my brother that ordered on the 15th via PSN isnt going to be able to play his Early Access in just under 5 hours then?

Edit: I'm curious to see how things go on PSN once the 24th rollover (when everything expires) but I will be at work and unable to check myself so if someone would be kind enough to post an update that would be cool.

Well can we hang out until someone tries it out midnight to see what happens? I'm trying to keep a smile on my face but its hard. We shouldn't have to reach out to them for this issue. We did more than pre ordered, we paid for the game in full. They should be reaching out to us to at least provide us with an official annoucment. That's all i ask.

im pretty sure hes on about an announcement regarding if they can play or not, not that there is a problem, we can SEE there is a problem.

Do those of us who bought the CE still get the CE in-game items if we were to buy the SE?

I got refund $59.99 in PSN. (from CE that I bought.) And all service of this game expired. (8/23) but I can't repurchase the CE version again. It's not available.
So, I decide to purchase Standard Edition instead of CE. Now, I can sign in and download new patch successfully.

At least, I can play Early Access. I'm hoping they will have an option to upgrade to CE with $20 later.

Did the same thing and am hoping for the same thing you are. I had my weekend planned around EA so I didn't want to jeopardize that by waiting for official word...somehow I think that's gonna come back and bite me in the ass.

Waited up to 20 minutes after midnight, PSN store still says the version I purchased is unavailable.
The only way to get into EA seems to be ordering the other version available on PSN.
For anyone that already bought the other version of the game, can you check your services list,
and please confirm that it says early access enabled again?

I don't want to buy and find out early access is over even if you buy it right now.

You can also try waiting until midnight PDT to see if you can purchase it. Still very disappointed that there's no official word from SE.

No probably not as the CE version that was purchased 13-15 Aug is set to expire on 23 Aug.

I just got a message from SE and they gave me a free copy. BOOM!

Updating and happy I did not buy the other version on the PSN store.
They send out messages go on the xbar all the way to the right,
click on check messages. You get a new early access code and can download game.

So we got a full refund on our purchase and they gave us a free version of the game
to make up for the trouble. No other extras though. But I guess you can call the refund
enough of an extra.

Just hit midnight where I live and a message showed up in my ps3 inbox saying that they have refunded the CE and there was a code attached to the message, when clicked, takes you to the psn store where you get your CE of the game for 100% free. Also from what I can tell you do get early access with this free download that they have given us effected by this error.

Help me out I live in North Carolina you near bye because I'm watching a movie on Netflix while the Xmb is in the back and nothing yet 2:21 overe here

Oh damn got a free copy as well 43min left on the Dl. It says complementary copy of previous order so im assuming EA. Got two messages. two free download of the game.

Do to technical error we have refunded your purchase and included a complementary copy of your previous order. It has an attachment that links you to the store where it automatically fills in the code box you just confirm and start the DL.

Just checked my XMB messages. Got a message from SE with a redemption attached. It not only fixed the problem but also gave a full refund. SE is amazing. If anyone else bought the pre order on 13th-15th check your messages.

@Elitenoob Im Central Standard Time and got it at 1am. Maybe since you are EST you will get at 2am.

Damn! I used the $59 I was refunded earlier to purchase the SE version before I headed off to work so I could start the download and have it finished by the time I got home. Did I just waste $39?! I'm glad for the fix don't get me wrong but that is why I really hate being left in the dark...

If they give me this redemption also (don't see why not) for the CE version I originally purchased and allow me to be CE then I'd still be up $20 and then it's no harm, no foul...

If you have not used your free game code,
and you bought the other version while waiting on word,
I think you can take the code that pops up and use it to link a pc
version to your account. I think I read that ps3 and pc could be used on either.

So your free version does not go to waste.

Tired and still waiting

Just woke up from my EA power nap and was relly excited to see this situation resolved on these forums.

Turning on the PS3 though, there's no message yet. If Sony and SE are going to pull off a fix/miracle before 2:00am they're sure cutting it close.

I'm also worrying that Can I get my $39.99 I just used to purchase Standard version back after used that code come with XMB message.

I won't play this game on PC, so It will totally waste if I can't get my $39.99 back...

They should official announce this or send me a message earlier...

I also have yet to receive a message. Paid for the PSN CE and hoping they're just running a smidge behind...

I hope you guys get messages soon. I just got done downloading everything, but before i started the process it said my Phase 4 character wasn't there. I hope that isn't the case :( but I wouldn't be as upset as not being able to play EA.
