Extremely excited to mess around with the Scholar. Got my Arcanist to 20, need to get my Conjurer up to 15 still but really looking forward to see what it is capable of.

Checking in like a Scholar. (or Lady or Gent)
As someone who loves to play healing classes I will for sure be trying out the new healing class. It should be fun.
I've always been the person amongst my friend who chooses healer as main spec so I am definitely trying SCH even though I'm not perticulary happy with the design of our gear.
Well can't really browser through all these pages... so I might just ask it already.
Do you guys have any idea if we are supposed to go INT all the way while playing as a ACN for those aiming for scholar? Was wondering since it seems that a stat reset won't be that easy at first.
Future Scholar checking in! I like the play style of this job. I want to be a healer, but I also want to play a support role. I'm hoping this will be the right fit for me!
Pretty sure my current job wanting order is Scholar > Summoner > and then I'll mentally debate White Mage and Dragoon. (I just wanna be tiny with a big lance/spear)
I've been itchin to play scholar ever since it was announced. I'm so stoked for when i get to 30 on my ACN :D
I've been wanting to main Scholar since it was announce. Been a main healer since my entirety of playing MMOs. An army of faeries helping me? How can I say no to that!? It's also spice up the basic main healer routine. The only healer class that was different for me was Chloromancer in Rift as you had to heal through damage(It was a lot of fun). However, Scholar seems like she will buff/debuff/and heal which works beautifully.
Unfortunately, stats for the jobs remain the same as their main class. So you should probably go all MND. I accidentally put some in for INT thinking that it would be different when I got Scholar but...
Yeah, it kinda sucks for Arcanists who are the main classes for two different jobs that use two different stats.
Can't wait to summon my first fairy already !
I will be playing SCH as my main for all FC activities. So far I love it.
yea i know i want the fairies too... i believe one for healing and one for buffing.
One question: how is Fey Glown calculated? because when i use it i see my CD reduced in a 5% or so but not close to 30%... i don“t understand how is calculated that 30%... is a bit useless atm.
Just unlocked Scholar today and ran my first dungeon as a healer. It was pretty fun, though my only complaint is Steady not staying selected when my Pet goes to do anything and instead switched to Guard. An AI/UI issue that I hope will be addressed in the future.
loving Scholar so far, though the farie's control seems all over the place grinding for lvl 50!
I don't think this is really a bad thing. All pets are like that, not just the fairy. And you just have to adjust your play style a little bit. And by that I mean accept the fact that the fairy is uncontrolleble. but that doesn't mean she isn't usefull!!!
You just have to place her on the right spot on the right time. Ans she will do the rest for you. Her placement is really of the utmost importance right.
+1 Scholar.
Did I mention that I'm also a White Mage? Rawr! ^_^
