Yeah but Molly has a 660 Ti :)

Right TI should give more performance, not sure what the single GPU score would be. I doubt it's as high as a GTX 670.
Ya you're right. It's closer to the performance of a GTX 670. I wonder why NVIDIA gave it a GTX 660 model number. The stock clock CPU is holding back the score.

Nvidia (and AMD's) model numbers are always kind of screwy
Basically, if you score well with 1.0, you're not going to have a problem scoring well with 2.0. If anything, it's going to score higher. The game is just optimized so much better graphically, at least, as far as the alpha went. (Before you NDA whiners start screaming you can watch Nico Nico live presentation on youtube to see the different graphical settings for 2.0 and how they perform)
Overclock CPU is just for high score in benchmark. Doesn't make much much difference in the actual game because you load the GPU with extra settings such as AA, higher textures, shadows and in your case surround. Places where it's CPU intense are crowed areas such as town center.
Sry for the Noob question but what is the Diff between a 670 and 670 FTW edition i was told the FTW edition suppose to be Very close to 680 but 100 buck less when i Google this question there more than 1 million diff answer to this XD idk sometime i wonder if i should have jus got 680s instead of SLI 670 FTW XD
And yes i just recently got into Pc building im still kinda new to this
FTW is EVGA's naming for their factory overclock GPU. Still a GTX 670, just overclocked out of the box.
I have almost the exact same system and can only hit 7.5k... My CPU is 3770k but OC'd to 4.5 Ghz, and my ASUS GTX 680 4GDDR5 is running at 1225 Mhz..
I am an OC noob though.. If I tried clocking my GPU to 1250MHz, the screen goes black momentarily and an error says that the GPU failed (So presuming 1225 is my limit).
It might not help that I am running dual monitors? I have no idea though.
Makes me feel kind of miserable seeing people having to use that nasty old benchmark because SE haven't pushed the ARR benchmark software out yet. :(
I just ran the benchmark, here's my results:
Intel i7 -3820 CPU @ 3.60 GHZ
32 GB ram
64 bit Win8
2x EVGA GTX 660 TI running in SLi
High Res: 7761
Didn't bother to do low.
I don't think dual monitors should affect score that much, you can always disable one to find out. If you're using Aero glass in windows 7 this will hurt score. Also my 3930k has 6 cores and memory is running at 2400 Mhz speed XMP Profile 1, which will boost my score a bit in CPU intense areas of the benchmark on high res.
Screenshot was from a long time ago when I was initially testing my PC. 1250 Mhz would crashing on me after playing games for a few hours. I did go back to 1225. What I didn't do is increase memory speed of GPU in that screen shot. This will increase your score as well. Basically you increase in increments till you see any artifacts, if you see artifacts you past your limit.
Check you low res score to see what your CPU and memory can do. If it's above 8k you should be able to overclock GPU to break 8k in high res.
Below are my stable settings I play games with. Notice the score is even higher with memory overclocked. Click on image for full screen.

Nice pointers Pseudo.
I am working at the moment so can't properly test the memory clock but I just bumped it up a touch to see how it would affect my scores.. It did push it a little higher but not drastically. I will throw up a screenshot for the high res.. I will do a low res bench in a few mins and throw it up on here as well.

Woops, forgot to edit out my 2nd monitor in my screenie. Just disregard that.
For the LQ bench, also shows my GPU-Z & CPU-Z info better:

That Aero glass will hurt performance in windowed mode. This was a common issue when I was collecting scores before.
That looks like a big monitor on the left :).
Ah duely noted.. I only just got all this kit about 1-2 months ago so still getting everything sorted. There were a couple of nice programs I had on my previous system.. "Vista Services", basically disabled all inactive / unneeded services (including switching to a performance based theme) and a "Game Booster" which basically picked up anything that Vista Services didn't. I found my game ran much cleaner on the crappy setup I used to have with both of them running.
I might re-bench everything after I set those back up.
Haha yeah it isn't small... 27" iMac :P 2560x1440
Present for you early. :D
Oo, I forgot about that. Thanks! Civ5 was slow cuz of that. hehe
is windows 8 better than windows 7? and who wants to thumb wrestle me!! ? no offense to players w/o thumb / thumbs :P
^ I think it is. Although I have yet to try it on an older system with older hardware. Although I'm sure it would work very well, with proper drivers of course. It is not only faster than windows 7, but once you get used to it, its even easier to find what you need, plus it uses less memory. BTW I have yet to come across any incompatibilities with games or programs, and things seem to run faster than they used to on windows 7.
ty kind sir / madam! /emote presents r. thumb
Windows 7 is said to have slightly better gaming performance then 8.
