My 8600m GT died on me after 3 years. My 8600 GT is still alive and kicking after 4 years though. As for being the worst GeForce series, I'd say the 5xxx one still holds the crown on that :P

A 8600 is essentially a 7600 with DX10 support, dunno about 8800.

Try somewhere nearer to you :) usually testing are like that is best to test server that are which more nearer to you.

Try running that test of a fresh computer boot with no other programs running and ensuring your co-user's PC is off.

If you are getting below 1.5Mbps, there is something wrong with your connection that your ISP should be able to address, provided that you are not more than 4km from your telephone exchange.

20Mbps is more like a theoretical maximum. Very few people get it, because it requires living really close to the telephone exchange. At about 2km away, your maximum speed drops to about 8Mbps.

This is all ADSL2+.

I get about 5Mbps. So totally looking forward to when the Gigabit speeds start to get installed in my area. :)

yea currently my speed is 10Mbps, which i will get around 1.0Mb/s in download and upload :) max in my country right now is 20Mbps... x_x but seriously dun really need that high... .
